Big Four

Tower of London

Massive Castle built nearly a thousand years ago to protect and intimidate London. Infamous execution site; two of Henry Vlll's wives breathed their last here. Home to the fabulous Crown Jewels which include four of the world's ten largest cut diamonds. The White Tower is the oldest complete building in London and houses one of the finest collections of arms and armour in the world A community of over 100 people still live here - the "Yeoman Warders or 'Beefeaters' and their families.

Westminster Abbey

'The Abbey' that has witnessed the coronation of virtually every English monarch for the past ten centuries. In effect, it is the National memorial church and contains the tombs of one Saint, thirty Kings & Queens and nearly three and a half thousand other graves and monuments to the great, the good (and forgotten), including Newton, Darwin, Dickens, Chaucer, Handel and most recently Steven Hawking.

The funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales and the marriage of Prince William & Katherine Middleton are the most recent important ceremonies held here.

St Paul's Cathedral

London's oldest church foundation has been central to our Christian history for over 1400 years. The energetic can climb to the top of the dome for spectacular views over London. Wellington & Nelson are buried in the crypt. The funerals of two of Britain's great twentieth century leaders - Winston Churchill & Margaret Thatcher - took place here.

Changing The Guard

The best free show in London! There are numerous ways to enjoy this impressive ceremony but you need a guide to show you how to time it and sequence the ceremonial effectively. We can combine the Horse Guard Change with the more famous Buckingham Palace Mounting the Guard. Allow about an hour to see both Daily between May and early August every two days the rest of the year. Cancelled at short notice if it is raining or threatening to do so. Not realistic to combine this with the Big Three in a Full Day, unless you skip the Tower of London. Can also be included in a Half Day tour of London.
